Janine Patricia Robredo, daughter of Vice President Leni Robredo, was accepted to study at Harvard University.
Vice President Leni shared that Tricia applied for the Harvard Medical School Master of Medical Science in Global Health Delivery and was accepted.
On Facebook, Vice President Leni posted the following:
“After going through the Medical Councils, Tricia had to postpone entry into a Residency Program twice. The first was when I asked her to help us with our Covid response operations. When our Covid situation improved a bit, she planned to start her Residency in January 2022.
When I suddenly decided to run in October 2021, she felt that I would need her in the campaign and decided to withdraw for the second time.
Since she became a licensed physician, and while helping me, she has consistently done hospital work as an ER doctor and also does clinical work. But beyond that, she also delved into various public health projects and had a deeper understanding of how health care is delivered to our communities.
She wanted to do more about the situation and started writing correspondence about the different realities she was exposed to. Several of her works have been published in medical journals. That’s when she discovered that this was what she wanted to pursue. She applied for Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery at Harvard Medical School, suntok sa buwan🙏 And she was accepted!!
We knew about the acceptance earlier, but we decided to keep it to ourselves until everything was finalized.
Super grateful for this great blessing”
