He said that a few minutes later he saw the victim leaving the house on a motorcycle.

“Since then I haven’t seen him and the victim’s absence for three days caused a rush.

“On Saturday, me and shop customers smelled bad and we all thought it was garbage or bangka1 blnatang in sem.ak area,” he said.

He said that this morning, he decided to check the store area before he found so much water flowing from the victim’s home.

“I remember Iupa turning off the faucet and me and my friend Mohd Redzuan Mohd Zain, 44, went to his house. After the answer went unanswered, we looked out the window before discovering that the victim had died.

“I opened the front door of his house which was not locked and at that moment we found a very strong smell before immediately contacting the police,” he said.

Meanwhile, said Dungun District Police Chief Superintendent Baharudin Abdullah, the investigation found that the victim who worked as a laborer at KiIang Kay.u in Bukit Besi had died a few days ago.

“The victim’s family was contacted and he was taken to the Dungun Hospital Medical Room for further investigation.

“The preliminary police investigation found that there were no elements of crime and the crime was classified as sudden death,” he said.
