

After Saturday, UBS students will go home to celebrate the festival of colors for a week. The occasion of Holi filled college students with enthusiasm to paint the faces of their loved ones. Before leaving for their respective homes, the entire UBS campus was drenched in Colors. Everyone threw colors and placed gulaal on each other with great pomp.

The enthusiasm of playing holi was visible in the students from the morning. Volunteers organized Music and Colors in their respective faculties to celebrate this festival with joy.

The joy of being close to hundreds of people after the countless waves of Covid was visible on the faces of the young students. In celebrating Holi, students playing colors here said that after a long time after Covid, all of us friends are getting a chance to get to know each other. That’s why it’s great to celebrate Holi this time around.

Divya of the Masters Final Year, drenched in Holi colors, said that this time Holi preparations went very well on the UBS campus. You see, how everyone is immersed in Holi with music, thandai, drums and drums on campus.

Manish from the Faculty of Arts said, “I’ve been on campus for the past 6 years and I’m having a great time. Today, after playing Holi with all our friends, we will go to our respective homes for the Holi vacation. Because of Covid, we are celebrating Holi after two years. The Holi music festival will last for two hours. After that, there is a mud Holi on the last one.”
