David Tan Siong Sun, 47, told the High Court yesterday that their names were recorded in the company’s accounting file, which consisted of “ministers, politicians and civil servants”.

For the record, the UKSB project is under the Ministry of the Interior (KDN) and the company was named by the government in 2016.

In President Umno’s corruption trial, Siong Sun also denied that he and former UKSB director Harry Lee Vui Khiun and another former UKSB director Wan Quoris Shah Wan Abdul Ghani had conspired to commit crimes such as money laundering, bribery, breach of trust and evasion. pay taxes.

Earlier, the prosecution’s 15th witness, Harry Lee Vui Khun, told the court that the note ‘KJ’ and bomoh were among the words listed in the UKSB’s ‘faraid’ book presented in Ahmad Zahid’s corruption trial.

The UKSB faraid book, also known as Book 555 in the Ahmad Zahid case trial, who was tried on 33 corruption charges, is a ledger that records payments from the UKSB to various individuals between 2014 and 2018.

The five names of politicians that were ‘cited’ are:

  1. Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin

The politician popularly known as ‘Abah’ is said to have received RM 1.3 million between June and August 2018.

At that time, Muhyiddin was the Minister of Interior under the administration of Pakatan Harapan (PH).

Siong Sun told Pagoh MP that he received a cash contribution of RM 300,000 on June 4, 2018; RM 500,000 (July 4, 2018) and RM 500,000 (August 23, 2018).

The 17th prosecution witness also said that the codename ‘TSM’ in the ledger was Tan Sri Muhyiddin, while ‘Team Pagoh’ was the name of the project.

However, Muhyiddin yesterday denied receiving any money from the UKSB.

He claimed that the witness’s testimony was false. He explained that during the time he was allegedly receiving money from the UKSB, he was undergoing cancer surgery and then took several months off for further treatment.

Muhyiddin said it was very impossible for him to receive cash when he was on leave for cancer treatment abroad.

Siong Sun said that Reezal Merican received funds ranging from RM200,000 to RM300,000 once from the UKSB.

The note ‘KJ’ is among the words of the UKSB’s ‘faraid’ book presented at the trial of Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s corruption case.

Siong Sun confirmed that Khairy received RM3.7 million in political funds from the UKSB. On June 13, Wan Quoris Shah, 42, said that Khairy or KJ received donations from his company, but the donations were not made directly.

The contribution given by the UKSB to the former Minister of Youth and Sport is between RM50,000 and RM200,000 for political assistance, disaster and humanitarian activities.

According to Wan Quoris, the contribution was not given directly to Khairy, rather it was channeled through the Rembau Umno Division because at that time, former Youth Chief Umno was the Deputy Division Chief.

“Political assistance to KJ is not just at the divisional level, it is also at the national level because at that time he was a national politician.

“For example, if there is a disaster and so on, I will help, for the humanitarian aid program, if there is a pre-election (PRK) I will also help,” said Wan Quoris, who is also known close to Khairy.

Wan Quoris also said that it was definitely for KJ, who is now the Minister of Health, it had nothing to do with the International Visa (VLN) contract and there was no big allocation to it.
