IPOH, June 23 (Bernama) – The left and emergency lanes between Tapah and Bidor at Kilometer (KM) 338.20 to KM 339.25 southbound on the North-South Highway will be closed for five days from June 27 to July 1.
Plus Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) today announced in a statement the closure of all vehicles due to the implementation of road maintenance works.
According to PLUS, the right lane at 338.20 to KM 339.25 (South) is still passable by all vehicles while the use of the emergency lane will be activated periodically depending on current needs.
“PLUS prioritizes safety and comfort on the highway and continuously makes several efforts and initiatives to improve both aspects.
“Customers heading south are advised to plan their trip using the PLUS app to get the latest traffic information via the CCTV monitor provided,” according to the statement.
Customers are also advised to comply with all traffic signs and instructions issued by PLUS employees when passing through the area, according to the statement.
Highway customers can call PLUSLine at 1800-88-0000 for traffic information or if they would like assistance in an emergency.
