Synopsis
Controlled by a complex network of cells, every human being on the planet is continuously run by an invisible operating system that is, for the most part, completely ignored. Although humans never give much thought to how they can function, day after day, the cells in the human body keep working, doing their part to keep humans alive and well. That’s why, on the outside, Kim Yoo Mi might look like any other single working woman in the world, but behind that ordinary appearance is something truly extraordinary.
After recently experiencing a painful breakup, Yoo Mi’s love cells fell into a deep coma. As the cells around her work hard to bring her fallen compatriot back to life, Yoo Mi spends her days trapped in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Heartbroken and lacking any romantic prospects, Yoo Mi’s love cells could be in serious trouble if it weren’t for Goo Woong’s sudden appearance. An emotionally stunted game developer, Goo Woong doesn’t know how to express his true feelings, but after meeting Yoo Mi, he finds himself wanting to try. With their own love cells unexpectedly triggering Yoo Mi’s return, things between the two start to get interesting. With Yoo Mi and Goo Woong’s cell phone working late, the two approach. But is the effort of this small cluster of cells really enough to unite two hearts forever?
