YANGON (Reuters) – Myanmar’s former chief Aung San Suu Kyi has been transferred from house arrest to solitary confinement in a prison complex in the military-built capital Naypyidaw, a junta spokesman said on Thursday.
“According to legal legal guidelines… (Aung San Suu Kyi) was saved in solitary confinement in prison” since Wednesday, Zaw Min Tun stated in a press release.
