ASUS has put the finishing touches on the Asus TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3050 VGA. This is Asus’ first TUF Gaming product with the RTX 3050 chipset, which has so far been given special treatment by ASUS ROG Strix and DUAL OC. Even more interesting is the cooling solution, which appears to be the first TUF Gaming graphics card with RGB LED lighting – a change from the functional and industrial look of TUF Gaming graphics cards.
It is also the smallest iteration of the TUF Gaming cooling solution that debuted with the “Ampere” RTX 30 series and features a dual fan configuration (compared to the triple fan on all other TUF Gaming products of this generation). This board has an RGB LED strip that runs along the top of the board, along the edge of the back plate. It has been reported that this RTX 3050 board is based on the smaller “GA107” silicon, not “GA106”, and therefore comes with lower typical board power than the GA106-based RTX 3050 board, with no performance difference.
