Amber Heard, a Hollywood star and Johnny Depp’s ex-wife, opened up about feeling “very scared” after Johnny Depp won the libel suit against her.
Heard confessed this during an interview on a show, which she opened with the joke, “Of course, I took for granted what I suppose is my right to speak.”
Heard added that he feared that no matter what he did, no matter what she said or how she said it, he would never be able to make her stop. Every action I take, he insisted, “will present another opportunity for the kind of silencing.”
Following the highly publicized defamation trial, reports that Amber Heard had been dropped from the Aquaman sequel were refuted by a spokesperson for the actress.
Heard was supposed to return to the role of Mera, Aquaman’s love interest, in the upcoming film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The position, according to a source on Tuesday, has been reformulated.
After a screening of the film, Warner Bros. chose to recast the role of Amber Heard. Jason Momoa and Nicole Kidman will be used in new footage, they announced. Rumor, on the other hand, is still inaccurate, insensitive and a little insane, according to a spokesperson’s statement earlier this week.
In Justice League and the 2018 Aquaman prequel, Heard previously played Mera. Heard stated that she had to “fight a lot” to keep the role because of the bad publicity surrounding Depp’s alleged abuse during the libel trial.
