Educational program for students to promote global mindset
The Seoul Metropolitan Government is inviting foreign instructors who would like to introduce their own culture to preschoolers and students in elementary, middle and high schools in Seoul.
l Application Deadline: Jan. 31 (Tuesday), 2012
l Seat Availability: 26 people
l Qualification: Foreigners or naturalized Korean citizens who meet all of the following requirements
- Individuals who can speak English or Korean
- Individuals who are available 2-3 times each month during the 5 months period
- Individuals who have passion to introduce one’s own culture to Korean students
² Priority will be given to those whose have fluent Korean proficiency.
l Documents to submit: application form, self-introduction letter and a lesson plan (in English or Korean) and a copy of the following documents as proof of identity/eligibility (ID card, proof of school enrollment, proof of your career experience, official Korean language or English test scores)
l How to apply: by post or e-mail or submit the documents directly to the Seoul Metropolitan Government (Mail-in applications will only be accepted if received before the due date.)

<Program Outline>
l Place: at a classroom of kindergartens, elementary, middle and high schools in Seoul
l Period: 2-3 classes per month from March to July, 2012
l Honorarium per class:
-less than one hour of class time: 50,000KRW
-more than one hour and less than two hours of class time: 80,000KRW
-more than 2 hours of class time: 130,000KRW

l Final Results Announcement: Feb. 14, 2012
l Orientation: in mid Feb. 2012
